Chun Yang Tea 26b Elizabeth Street
fire strikes again in Chinatown, this time at 26 Elizabeth Street. Officers from the NYPD 5th Pct on Elizabeth Street noticed smoke from the ground floor of 26 Elizabeth Street Monday evening and rushed into the building to rescue seniors from their apartments.

Police bodycam footage showed 3 seniors being carried down the stairs and into the 5th Pct across the Street. No one was hurt in the fire but Chun Yang Tea suffered damage. The fire is believed to have started from the ice machine within the shop.
