The NYC DOT will host an in-person workshop for the Chatham Square, Park Row, connections project.

All interested are encouraged to attend.

NYC DOT is hosting an in-person workshop on proposed street improvements on and around Park Row, with the goal to clarify access to Park Row and enhance pedestrian and bike connections between Chinatown, Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. This effort is part of the Chinatown Connections project, which includes three major components: renovating Kimlau Square, beautifying the Park Row connection to Chinatown, and creating a Chinatown welcome gateway.

Date/Time: Wednesday, April 17, 12:30pm -4:30pm

Location: Park Row and Worth Street

Languages: English, Mandarin, and Cantonese

Additionally, NYC DOT Art is commissioning temporary site-responsive art to support the proposed street improvements in reinforcing the connection between Lower Manhattan and Chinatown, and reflect the rich cultural identity of the area. The Request for Qualifications is now open and the deadline for submission is Sunday, May 5. The selected artists will develop and install art at sites on and around Park Row.
