Scaffolding removed after months of renovations
Last week the scaffolding was removed, and Hassan was inspecting the restoration of his shop in hopes of re-opening but inspection by NYC DOB (department of buildings) is pending. Hassan had opened the shop just a year before the fire, prior to opening the 47 Mott Street shop he had operated Fatima Fiza Gifts Inc at 248 Canal Street for 14 years.
