North Tower of Tombs demolition
The city has 2 major projects underway in Chinatown and will host a workshop for tradesmen or minority/women owned businesses. The info-sessions will walk through the registration process for minority/women owned businesses wishing to bid on city contracts. Since all city construction or renovation contracts must go through an open bidding process, here is a chance for Chinese contractors to get in the game. In order to bid on city contracts, an applicant must register and gain approval.

Department of Design and Construction (DDC) has two construction projects in Lower Manhattan – 70 Mulberry Street Reconstruction and Manhattan Borough Based Jail (124-125 White Street). DDC and SBS are hosting a Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Certification Information Session in May and will share information on how to get certified as an M/WBE so that you can compete for these and future contracts.
