Signage for Brookyn Fare on Cherry Street Entrance
Brooklyn Based grocer Brooklyn Fare will soon open an outpost on the Lower East Side. Signage went up several weeks ago above the commercial space at the Extel Tower. The Lower East Side has been a shopping desert since Pathmark closed to make for the luxury development.

The affordable to moderately priced market will save some residents a long trek to the Trader Joes on Grand Street or City Acres on Clinton. Prices are comparable to Sunshine Market which replaced the C-Town on Pearl Street.
