Signs of economic rebound are popping up all along Mott Street. On a casual walk down Mott Street between Grand Street to The Bowery, an unofficial canvass revealed only 2 vacant storefronts are up for lease.

Here is a sampling of 7 projects underway along the street.

Fok Noodles at 12 Mott Street

Fast food Fok Noodles signage is up but no scheduled day of opening is posted

Wo Hop 17 Mott

Wo Hop is adding a dining room to it’s basement location. The eatery popular with tourists and NYers alike has leased the vacant storefront above its famed basement restaurant

King’s Kitchen 58 Mott Street

King’s Kitchen is renovating the space at 58 Mott scheduled to open early 2025.

Congee Village 70 Mott Street

Congee Village is renovating the old Canton Lounge restaurant to add a second location to its resume.

Mission Chinese 45 Mott Street

Mission Chinese will be officially open in near future. The restaurant had closed its East Broadway location during the pandemic.

Mei Lai Wah 41 Mott Street
